  • Broad-spectrum LIBS from UV to NIR, for the qualitative analysis of almost all elements.
  • Argon or Helium shroud for detection of most non-metals.

X-ray Diffraction Analysis

  • Qualitative and quantitative X-ray diffraction analysis of materials including (but not limited to) metals, soils, corrosion products, and amorphous silica.
  • Crystallographic analysis of materials using Rietveld refinement.

Raman Spectroscopy

  • Identification of plastics, some organic materials, minerals, and gemstones.

Field-portable X-ray fluorescence

  • Queensland Radiation Health Use Licence to carry out on-site field-portable X-ray fluorescence analyses.

  • Infrared camera for thermographic surveys.

  • Optical microscopes with image analysis capability.
