Crystalline Silica

Case Study: Crystalline Silica Content Of Diatomaceous Earth

The Issue: Safe Work regulations require that crystalline silica levels in mineral powders must be known in order to manage respiratory risks to the workers.

The Outcome:  The forms and the concentrations of crystalline silica in mineral products are able to be determined using X-ray diffraction analysis.
